Overview

The Add Individual Membership Type tool is used to create new individual membership type groups.

Membership type groups may be created for two reasons:

To define dependencies between primary and dependent membership types

Kavi Members supports grouping structures with up to two tiers of membership levels: a primary and secondary (dependant) level. In two-tier membership systems, a group of primary membership types is defined as a prerequisite for a group of dependant, secondary-level memberships.

To impose limits on memberships held simultaneously

In both single-tier and two-tier membership structures, the grouping mechanism can also be used to set a limit on the number of memberships within a group that can be held simultaneously.
