This white paper provides in-depth background about the ISO 20022 Stand-alone Remittance messages; why they were developed, how they were developed, the use cases they address, and the case for adoption of the messages by industry and financial service providers. Many examples are included in order to familiarize the reader with the structure and capabilities of the messages

The joint report shows that by using both standards as points of reference, banks can begin to optimize their business capabilities both strategically and tactically. This includes accelerating the development and implementation of new banking solutions, clarifying the scope of services provided to and by external partners, and defining legacy systems as services used to support emerging business architectures – all of which sit in the overall services landscape.
